RAAL mobility Labs is one of our most valuable operations
AND IS BASED IN BISTRITA, CLOSE TO RAAL’S MANAGEMENT, ORIGINAL FACTORY AND LOCAL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY.
RAAL mobility Labs main mandate will be to design, test, validate and industrialize battery cells coolers in ways that factor in constant and critical customers feedback. To do this, we will build on 40 years of experience in in-house R&D for our products.
This unit operation deploys its own bespoke software packages in the innovation process while deploying an improved version of Finite Element Analysis to simulate structural, flow and vibration stress testing for the cooler system.
RAAL mobility Labs is designed based on the template of Scandinavian corporate-academic partnerships. Specifically, RAAL mobility will work with two technical universities known for their applied science approach (the Bistrita branch of the Cluj Technical University and of the Arad Technical University) to RAAL will co-fund and employ PhD students whose dissertations will be linked to the eRAAL R&D operational objectives.
In addition to technical R&D, RAAL mobility Labs has a team of research economists with advanced degrees whose task will be to author white papers on the dynamic changes in the battery and cooler system market based on the model of IHS Markit Automotive. This unit will enable RAAL mobility to anticipate major market movements and insert RAAL mobility in the market for electromobility consultancy and corporate intelligence.
